THE PERFECT BLOW OUT IS ALL ABOUT...
The right technique, the right tools and the right hands. Getting that head-turning, flipped-in flicked-out, volumized blowout that makes you feel like you just stepped off a Vogue shoot can be a daunting task to manage if you don't have a basic understanding of the different factors that help you achieve mane perfection. Start with allowing your freshly washed locks to air dry about half way and always apply a heat protectant product to your hair before you begin blasting the blow dryer. (You can use low-heat / cool setting which works better to eliminate and control frizz). Divide your hair in sections so you will be equipped to flip in the front, top strands to frame your face, while flipping out the strands underneath.

Use a large sized brush to get dramatic volume and keep your hands steady as you apply consistent heat. RESUSCITATE WITH OIL & HAIR MASKS
Develop a bi-weekly habit of indulging in hot oil massage and deeply moisturizing hair masks. Choose your oils carefully, depending on your hair needs and picking organic where you can. Within a few short months, you will notice a tremendous difference in hair growth, luster, texture, volume and scalp clarity.

Slightly warm up your chosen oil before applying it, to ensure better delivery of essential nutrients into the hair follicles. Be sure to massage your oil or hair mask gently and thoroughly all over the scalp to stimulate circulation, and leave on for a minimum of 4 hours. Overnight is even better!
SHAMPOO & CONDITION THE RIGHT WAY
We know you're busy, but take the time to learn this essential hair care step! Start by choosing the right shampoo for your hair type. After rinsing your hair with warm (never hot!) water for about a minute, apply your shampoo and massage it into the scalp for at least 3 minutes, clearing out all the buildup. Wash it out thoroughly and then apply your conditioner to the bottom two-thirds of your hair, not the scalp! Rinse it off with cold water to seal the hair cuticles and lock in shine.

Avoid Shampoo Plus Conditioner formulations, and opt for a separate conditioner (of the same brand as your shampoo). This is often the difference between beautiful, shiny, soft hair, and coarse, crass hair that looks and feels like... grass!

100 STROKES BEFORE BED
There's a reason why our grandmothers had good volume of hair well into their 80s.
