ETIQUETTE

To our dear clients: while we deeply appreciate your business, your loyalty and your constructive feedback, please note that we have a strict code of conduct in order to maintain an atmosphere of peace and positivity for everyone at the Hair Bar.

Due to recent unfortunate incidences, we have enabled a Zero-Tolerance Policy for disrespect of any of our staff or the establishment itself. PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY CLIENT WHO DISRUPTS OR DISRESPECTS ANY OTHER CLIENT OR STAFF MEMBER WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. Thank you for your understanding.

PYHB CODE OF CONDUCT
1. PLEASE RESPECT EVERYONE
Please treat everyone with respect and courtesy. This includes yourself, other clients and stylists at the Hair Bar. Our PYHB team is always polite, helpful and professional and doesn't deserve to be treated with harshness. If you are dissatisfied with your look for any particular reason, please explain it to us and we will do our best to achieve the result you want. However, if there is screaming, shouting, drama or disruption of any sort, we will not hesitate in asking you to leave, as we reserve the right to refuse service to uncivilized clients.

2. PLEASE BE ON TIME
Once you make an appointment, please ensure you show up at that time. If you’re late, your stylist will have to begin their next appointment late, and all of the following appointments will be set back as well. It impacts a lot of people! However, if the day of your appointment comes and you know you won’t be able to make it on time, just let your stylist know as early as possible- this at least gives them time to rearrange their schedule, and possibly make up for your being late.

3. PLEASE DON'T REMAIN ON THE PHONE FOR AN EXCESSIVE PERIOD OF TIME
Emergency phone calls or quick, important calls are completely understandable. But please avoid long and unimportant calls during hair appointments, as it interferes with your stylist's job to wash, cut, dye and style the look properly, leading to results which may be dissatisfying to you. (Feel free to use your phone for texting, as that does not interfere with our work!)

4. PLEASE AVOID CANCELING & MISSING APPOINTMENTS
If you’re going to miss your hair appointment, it’s best to give your stylist at least a couple of days’ notice. This way, they have a chance to book someone else for that time slot. PYHB always does an appointment confirmation call, and you may let us know about your change in plan at that time. Please try not to miss your appointment AFTER confirming as it will affect your stylist's business.

5. PLEASE MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS OF HAIR HYGIENE AT ALL TIMES
We know that the vast majority of our beloved clients maintain good hair / nail health and hygiene. We do our best to serve everyone and maintain stringent standards of sanitation. Please note that due to the delicate nature of our salon business, we can not serve clients who have highly contagious scalp conditions (lice, nits, ringworm infection, or itchy / inflamed scalp etc) in order to protect our staff, clients and equipment. To avoid any undue embarrassment, please ensure that you are free of all such ailments (which require medical attention) before making an appointment.

Thank you for helping us to serve you in the best way possible!
We look forward to establishing a happy, harmonious, long-term relationship with all of our clients.
