PYHB is thrilled to launch its professional hair artistry course, PYHB Sculptor, Level 1.  This is a beginner-level program for exceptional hairdressing, containing a total of 22 theoretical and practical classes given over a duration of 1 month. Heading the program is Educational Director, Palwasha Yousuf, aided by the seasoned staff at The Hair Bar, who will be available for extra one-on-one guidance.  The course implements an international caliber of foundational teachings and cutting-edge practices used in the global beauty industry today.  Rest assured, after training directly under one of the most sought-after hair stylists in the country, you will have the confidence, the technical know-how and unrivaled skill set to step into the highly competitive hair and beauty industry.

COURSE OVERVIEW

 

In this 4-week long program, you will learn the following essentials:

▶ Basic Hair Theory

▶ Client Consultations

▶ Washing, Shampooing and Conditioning Techniques

▶ Mastering Various Haircutting Techniques

▶ Practicing Trendy Blowout styles

▶ Using Industry Hair Tools and Equipment with expertise

A 2-day Practical Final Examination will take place towards the end of the program.  The exam will test all the skills you will be expected to learn and master during the course.   You must pass the final in order to obtain our PYHB Sculptor Level 1 Certificate.

 

COURSE REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

 

Since this an introductory level course into the world of hair artistry, no prior knowledge or  hairdressing skills are required to apply for the program.  Basic proficiency of the English language is needed to read  the course booklet which will be provided to each student upon enrollment.

CLASS TIMINGS:

Classes will take place at The Hair Bar, Mon-Fri, from 10am - 1 pm.  You are expected to arrive on time each day, and please do not miss any sessions, as you will miss out on a vital learning experience.

PYHB will provide a learning kit to each student (after registration and payment.)

The PYHB SCULPTOR LEVEL 1 kit which you will receive will include:

▶ Scissors

▶ Sectioning clips

▶ Cutting comb
